Fruit smoothies right out the blender make great breakfast drinks. Throw in your favorite protein powder and you have an easy high protein breakfast in minutes.
There are some mornings, however, when you are really enjoying your peace and quiet and the thought of turning on that whirring, grinding blender is the last thing you want to do. But you still want to start your day with a healthy protein breakfast drink. After all, breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day.
Don’t worry; we’ve got you! Here are a few recipes for healthy protein breakfast drinks using Nutrilite™ Organics Plant Protein Powder with no whirring or grinding involved. There’s only rich chocolatey goodness, the delightful flavor of your favorite chai tea and a serving of protein to start your day right!
Protein Hot Chocolate
- 1 cup extra creamy almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 scoop Nutrilite Organics Plant Protein – Chocolate
- 1 tsp agave syrup
- 1 packet Nutrilite Fiber Powder (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a small pot or sauce pan and mix using a milk frother or whisk. While stirring continuously, heat over medium-low heat for 5 minutes or until hot.
Once it reaches your desired temperature, pour into a mug and serve immediately. Need a little extra sweetness? Try some additional agave syrup. Enjoy!
Iced Chai with Vanilla Protein Foam
- 1 cup milk of your choice
- 1 cup prepared chai tea, chilled
- ¼ cup milk of your choice for frothing (dairy, macadamia nut or oat work best for this)
- ¼ tsp agave (optional)
- 1 tbsp + 1 tsp Nutrilite Organics Plant Protein – Vanilla
- 1 packet Nutrilite Fiber Powder (optional)
- Dash of cinnamon
Combine 1 cup of your chosen milk and 1 cup of the chilled chai tea together. Mix well and pour over ice in two glasses.
In a separate cup, add ¼ cup of milk, agave and 1 tbsp Vanilla Plant Protein. Froth for 30 seconds to incorporate. Add in the additional 1 tsp of protein powder and froth an additional 15-30 seconds to thicken. Spoon over the iced chai in your glasses, add a dash of cinnamon and enjoy!
